Family shoot in Cape Town, South Africa

Family shoot in front of Table Mountain

A few months back, I had the pleasure of the Bell Family in front of my camera!!

I met Sean and Tamsin, with their 2 beautiful sons, Calum, who is 13, and young Logan, who is 3 and a half, at Blaauwberg Beach, as a beach shoot, with Table Mountain as the background, is always something special!! Certainly for me since I don't get to see Table Mountain every day anymore since I live in Germany, but that will soon change, since we now have a home in the Cape as well!!!! Woop woop!!! :)

Photographing 2 young boys is extremely easy especially when you see just how photogenic they are!!  Calum is a total natural in front of the camera and is a definite heart breaker, and young Logan, has all the makings of a child model!!!

Sean and Tamsin, thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family!

I hope you enjoy your photos as much as I enjoyed photographing you!!

A Photoshoot with a senior dog called Quintus!

Family shoot with a difference!

I love doing shoots where fur babies are included, but sometimes, there's a shoot which touches me more than others, simply because I understand that the photos which I am going to produce, are going to be treasured because in a little while, one of the models may not be around. This was one of those shoots!

Quintus is a beautiful senior citizen, 14 years old, who unfortunately is suffering with terminal cancer! A few months back, Quintus was diagnosed with a cancerous growth in his paw! This was subsequently removed, and all was well for a time. Then during August this year, at a routine examination, a rather large lump was found in his neck, almost the size of a half a tennis ball! The vet has advised "his mother" that the growth is in the lymph nodes and sadly, the cancer seems to be a very aggressive cancer and is fast growing.
